A dive into how Nike used UEFN to create ‘Airphoria’
The Fortnite Team
Last year, Nike was one of the first to partner with Beyond Creative and the Epic Innovation Lab to create Nike’s immersive world experience using Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).
Nike wowed fans with Airphoria, an immersive virtual sneaker hunt that took players from underground nightclubs to surreal beaches, collecting Nike Air Max Grails along the way.
Nike’s sneaker-themed island was a masterclass in what’s possible with UEFN, showcasing everything from high-quality cinematics and atmospheric lighting to absorbing gameplay and captivating visuals.
We’ve created five short tutorials that uncover the process used to create some of the elements in Airphoria. Check them out below!
