You’ll be able to publish your islands when the feature enters Beta later this year.Features are made available in an Experimental state so you can try them out, provide feedback, and see what we’re planning. Because First Person Camera Mode is an Experimental feature, the device currently comes with a few limitations including:
- All ranged weapons (except dual-wield weapons like Dual Pistols) and the Ballistic Shield are usable in first-person but not all weapons currently have custom reload animations in first-person.
- When dual-wielding weapons, the camera will automatically switch to third-person. This will remain the case in the Beta release.
- Not all player actions are available in first-person. In some situations such as swimming, gliding, and skydiving, the camera will automatically switch to third-person. This will remain the case in the Beta release.
- Some actions may cause the player's hands or weapon to be hidden.
- Shadows are missing, and in some situations you may notice rendering imperfections like clipping.
